VoiceShield Compact is a focused microphone suppression system developed for government, security and controlled-access environments where sensitive discussions take place within a compact and defined area.
At the core of the system is a 16-transducer ultrasonic array operating across 28–40 kHz. The directional output is designed to disrupt microphone-based recording devices positioned within the protected threat zone while allowing the system itself to remain discreetly positioned away from the main discussion area.
VoiceShield Compact is particularly suited to protected briefings, secure offices, interview spaces and controlled discussion areas where the likely recording position can be identified and the suppression output strategically directed towards that zone.
Focused Threat-Zone Protection
VoiceShield Compact is designed around strategic placement rather than prominent positioning between participants.
The unit can be positioned discreetly to the side of the protected discussion area and directed across the likely recording zone.
This allows the ultrasonic output to intersect smartphones, voice recorders, concealed microphones and other potential audio-capture devices without requiring the suppressor to be positioned directly in front of the participants.
In a typical seated discussion, the unit can be positioned so that the suppression field passes above the table surface and through the area where recording devices are most likely to be located.
Two Remote-Controlled Operating Modes
VoiceShield Compact includes an A/B remote control allowing the operator to immediately select between two suppression modes.
Mode A – Standard Suppression
Standard Mode operates the ultrasonic suppression array independently and is designed for routine protection of sensitive discussions.
Mode B – Turbo Suppression
Turbo Mode combines ultrasonic suppression with Dynamic Acoustic Masking to provide an additional layer of interference where a higher level of protection is required.
Compact Protection for Sensitive Discussions
The compact enclosure allows VoiceShield Compact to be incorporated into controlled environments without dominating the protected space.
Its directional design allows the system to be placed to one side of the discussion area while concentrating suppression towards the likely recording threat position.
This focused approach makes VoiceShield Compact particularly effective where the area requiring protection is relatively small but the value or sensitivity of the discussion is significant.
